Tervisekassa pays for the dental care of insured persons under the age of 19. For incapacity pensioners and old-age pensioners, Tervisekassa pays for dental prosthetics in the amount of 260 euros once every three years. Pregnant women and mothers of children under one year of age, as well as old-age and incapacity pensioners, people with partial or absent work ability, and elderly people over 63 years of age receive a dental care benefit of 105 euros per year, with the patient paying at least 12.5% of the bill themselves. All adults with health insurance receive a dental care benefit of 60 euros per year, with the patient paying at least 50% of the bill themselves.

ISIC cardholders are offered a 20% discount and ITIC/IYTC cardholders a 10% discount (excluding prosthetics). For full-time higher education students, the dental care discount is 20%.
