Frequently asked questions
Can I come for a massage with a runny nose, cough or fever?
A mild cough and a mild runny nose are not an obstacle – the question is more about how infectious it is and how comfortable you feel. Fever, however, is a contraindication, and it is not worth putting strain on your body even with a slight temperature of 37 degrees, because fever means there is inflammation in the body, and inflammation is a contraindication.
What is a massage course and how often should I come then?
A massage course is meant for addressing a problem in depth and over a longer period. You should come at least once a week for three weeks in a row. The price is also more favourable then, but if the gaps are longer than a week, it is no longer a course and the price changes accordingly.
How can I support myself after a massage?
Most of the time you feel pleasant and good after a massage, but this is not always the case. On coming from a massage, chills, drowsiness or sometimes also a headache or mild nausea can be a fairly normal reaction of the body. In that case it is worth drinking water and resting if possible.
Why is it recommended, when doing sports, to have a massage after training or on a day off?
With Thai massage this condition is not so important – the gap with training can also be a few hours before. With regular and sports massage, however, the body is worked through differently and the muscle is already more tired. The gap should be a minimum of 6 hours, preferably 24 hours.
